Mothers' Union was founded by Mary Sumner in 1876 and the branch here at Bury Parish Church began in 1899. The Branch has approximately fifty members and meets at 7.45pm on the first Tuesday of the month in the Kay Room of the Church Hall (behind the Church), preceded by a service of Holy Communion in Church at 7.15pm.
Membership of the World-Wide Mothers' Union is open to all who have been baptised and who declare support of the Aims and Objectives. We welcome new members and have an open invitation to all, both men and women, to attend our regular meetings.
We would also be interested to hear from any past members of the Bury Parish Church Branch - please get in touch.

Thanks also to David and Joanne Seale for their help with the Easter Egg Hunt.
A member of the Dustbusters had a nice surprise when she found the last egg on the following Friday morning.
We also held a Bring and Buy sale and raised £58 for the Mothersí Union Literacy in Malawi project.
Should any non-members wish to join us you will be very welcome.
