Welcome to the holiday club page!  Here at Bury Parish Church we seek to run holiday clubs in the Easter and Summer holidays, and at Christmas too!  Details of the next holiday club will appear on this page when they become available, so keep your eyes peeled!  Information about past holiday clubs can be found on our news page, while some information about what holiday club is can be found at the bottom of this page.

Oh no!  I'm very sorry, but we haven't any spaces left for our current holiday club.  Hopefully you can come along next time!

What is holiday club?

Holiday club is a day full of activities during school holidays, often running on several days in a week.  Children are dropped off by their parents at the start of the day, and then get up to a range of fun things including indoor games, craft and construction activities, outdoor games, quizzes, singing songs, learning about God, watching videos, and messy games (don't worry; normally it's the leaders who get messy).  Sometimes we have lunch (depending on how long the club is for), but we always have a squash and biscuit break.

Who is holiday club for?

Our holiday clubs are open to all children who are five or older and of primary school age.  It doesn't matter where you live or what school you go to; all are welcome!  We also have volunteers - young helpers, of a secondary school age, and adult helpers, who are over 18.  Although helpers come to support the children, they have just as much fun themselves!

Where do your ideas come from?

We use holiday club resources produced by Scripture Union, our own material, and craft and game ideas from the wealth of experience held by our holiday club team!

Can I help?

Most probably!  Get in touch using the details at the bottom of the page, and we can arrange to meet up for an informal chat about holiday club and you.

If you have any questions, you can contact someone using the list of contacts available here.
