The Drop-In is open to anyone whose first language isn’t English. It’s a joint project run by the Bury ESOL Advice Service and Bury Parish Church, offering a warm, welcoming space for people to meet others and practise their spoken English.

If you’d like a chance to chat, make friends, and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with a biscuit, join us on Fridays between 10:00 and 12:00. Our team of volunteers runs activities to help improve both spoken and written English, as well as build confidence and understanding of life in the UK.

There’s no charge, and everyone is welcome.

If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer and can spare a couple of hours each week, feel free to drop into Blackburne Hall any Friday morning to speak with Sana Ishtiaq, or chat with Janice Harvey at the church.
