Lent Study Group

‘Lentwise’

We will be meeting for 5 sessions over Lent to discuss a series of issues relating to everyday life based on John’s Gospel. The course has been devised by Paula Gooder who is a contemporary theologian and teacher.

Sessions will look at –

COMPASS – Finding Direction

NOURISHMENT – Keeping Going

LIGHT – Gaining Wisdom

SHELTER – Finding Security

WATER – Enjoying Refreshment

We will meet on Wednesday evenings from 7.00-8.30p.m. at the Two Tubs pub next to Bury Parish Church. 

Session 1 will be Wednesday 25th February and sessions will run through to March 25th.
